"Sky Confluence" is the mood of a late winter evening in Taos, New Mexico. The image here is taken from the location where Doug maintained his first studio after moving from Socorro in late 1998. From this high location one looks out over the Taos mesa with its deep gash of the Rio Grande Gorge. To the left are the snow capped Truchas Peaks and on the distant right the Jemez Mts. well over 80 miles away. Overhead two cloud lines streak together disappearing over the western horizon.
